Founder & CEO — ArtHelios (art × culture × wellbeing)

Riga, Latvia Strategy • Product definition • Partnerships Cultural production • Placemaking • Scenography

I am a founder, creative leader, and cultural builder working at the intersection of art, culture, and wellbeing.

Over the past two decades, I have initiated and led platforms, spaces, and formats that turn artistic ambition into lived experience—bringing together artists, institutions, audiences, and communities. My work spans founding and running independent cultural venues and festivals, leading multidisciplinary teams, designing environments, and building long-term creative ecosystems.

I am currently Co-founder & CEO of ArtHelios, where I am taking the company from early concept through MVP development and market entry. At ArtHelios, I lead strategy, product definition, and partnership development, working closely with cultural institutions, healthcare professionals, and advisors to create a platform where art and culture actively support human wellbeing.

Previously, I spent over a decade as Creative Director of the Sansusī Festival, a landmark multidisciplinary arts festival known for merging academic music with experimental, boundary-breaking formats. My role combined curation, production, and scenography, including the creation of unconventional formats that brought high-level artistic practice into unexpected, informal settings.

I also founded and managed Tu jau zini kur, an independent concert hall for music and theatre, and co-founded TUR_telpa, a large-format contemporary art space that treated architecture, time, and audience engagement as integral parts of the artwork itself. Across these projects, my work consistently focuses on placemaking, collaboration, and designing conditions in which creative communities can thrive.

My background spans creative direction, technical leadership, design, and production—from heading technical operations at the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra's concert hall to award-winning design work and long-term hands-on experience with teams, systems, and real-world constraints.

Today, my focus is on building sustainable, meaningful cultural infrastructure—projects that do not treat art as decoration or entertainment, but as a force that shapes experience, connection, and wellbeing at both individual and societal levels.
